The Croatian municipality wants children to develop good habits at an early age
Today, the Croatian City of Križevci announced that it has installed containers for separate collection of waste in four kindergartens. However, it is important to note that these are not regular bins but rather containers in the form of bears, frogs, and dolphins.
In this way, the municipality makes waste separation a fun experience for children and allows them to learn through play. More importantly, it promotes the development of positive habits from an early age.
The City of Križevci financed the bins using the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.
See the gallery above for photographs of the new containers.
