Mayor of Pescara is Carlo Masci. He was born on 27 November 1958 in Pescara. After graduating from the "Galileo Galilei" high school in his city, he graduated in law from the University of Parma and then began his career as a lawyer.
He entered politics in 1994 at the head of a civic list that took him to the municipal council in Pescara. At the 2009 regional elections he was elected to the Regional Council of Abruzzo with his own civic center-right list "Rialzati Abruzzo", being nominated for budget, institutional reforms, sport and local authorities. Being closer to Forza Italia, in 2014 he joined the city council opposition, elected with his Pescara Futura civic list.
Masci is an Italian politician, member of the centre-right party Forza Italia. He was elected Mayor of Pescara on 28 May 2019. Masci took his office on 10 June 2019.
