Nerijus Cesiulis was born on 6 May, 1981. He graduated from Alytus College in 2003 and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Business Adminsitration from Vilnius Univerisity in 2008. In 2010 Nerijus Cesiulis finished his Master's studies at Kaunas University, obtaining a degree in Business Management.
Over the years, he has worked as Manager at the Alytus college career center. Later, he was elected as member of the Alytus City Council in 2007, where he has served for the past 12 years and in 2008 became Deputy director of Alytus College. In 2019 he was elected mayor of Alytus.
