Mayor of Radom is Radosław Witkowski. He was born on June 4th, 1974 in Random.
On behalf of the Civic Platform in 2006 he was elected a councilor of Radom city council. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, he obtained a parliamentary mandate from the PO list. Running in the Radom District, he received 8229 votes. In the 2011 elections he successfully applied for re-election, receiving 7285 votes. In the Sejm, he was a member of the Local Government and Regional Policy Committees, Public Finance and the European Union Affairs Committee.
In 2014 he took the office of mayor of Radom on behalf of PO. In the second round of voting, he defeated Andrzej Kosztowniak from PiS, who was applying for re-election, receiving 52% of votes. In 2015, he was elected a member of the audit commission of the Association of Polish Cities.
