On 27 September 2020, Leonard Achiriloaei was elected mayor of Roman.
He is former leader of municipal councilors in the Local Council of PNL, former economic and financial director of the Romanian Municipal Emergency Hospital for ten years, and has already surpassed half a year since he was Minister of State in the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests.
