The Danish capital ranks second in the world when it comes to being an attractive city to live in, according to e new index done by the rental housing search engine Voreslejebolig.dk. The index is based on 6 key parametres, which are all to things to consider when you are looking for a place to live: cost of rent, cost of groceries, level of salary, level of unemployment, crime and healthcare.
Copenhagen’s top strengths are salary, level of crime, health and unemployment, but scores poorly on rent and groceries prices. At first place in the index is Prague. Tokyo, Warsaw and Bucharest completed the top 5, followed by Amsterdam, Helsinki, Vienna, Moscow and Madrid. Other notables included Berlin (13), Sofia (14), London (16), Beijing (17), New York (18), Stockholm (19), Paris (21) and Dublin (25).
The ranking concerns only 25 most attractive and biggest metropolises - e.g. cities containing densely populated areas, surrounded by more sparsely populates locations, which are entirely under the control and authority of the central urban area.
