Google will invest about 700 million dollars in the development of a data center located near the Danish town of Fredericia. The giant company had already bought the parcel of land in 2015 but announced this Monday the already developed plans to build a data center. Google's vice president for global data centres, Joe Kava, claims that the huge center will be one of the most energy efficient structures in Denmark and will "make sure every watt of electricity counts."
Mayor of Fredericia welcomes the development becasue it will not only be a data center for Google, it will also create many job openings. Only the construction workers will be about 1500, making sure that the first site of the complex will be ready to welcome its first workers in 2021.
