Mobile payment apps and cards used more than cash in Sweden

Many retailers might stop accepting cash at all by 2025

Sweden is one of the European countries that might become completely digital quite soon. A poll, in which various Swedish retailers took part, showed that many of them could stop accepting cash as payment method by 2025. 

The most common way of payment is by credit or debit card, followed by mobile payment apps which, however, are performing not that well.
