Almost every child has read the fairy tale The Bremen Town Musicians by the Brothers Grimm, but only in the Hanseatic city you can experience the tale for free through a live performance taking place over the next few months in Bremen.  This popular folk tale is a hit with young and old alike.

The event starts in May and ends in September, with performances every Sunday at midday on the Cathedral Square. The donkey, dog, cat and rooster awake on cathedral square and recount the adventure of their journey to Bremen with life-size characters.
