More than 450,000 travellers per day make Hamburg's main station one of the most frequented passenger railway stations in the country. Every day, around 720 local and national trains roll in and out of Hamburg's main traffic hub.

Public transport in Hamburg cannot be imagined without the 8 mainline railway lines, 4 urban railways and 6 underground platforms for local traffic. Very important is also the S1 a direct connection to the airport. 75 shops and restaurants are open seven days a week.
