Rome's Tiber river with beaches from next year

Mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi, announced the project

10,000 square meters along Tiber river banks will be turned into beaches next year. Folliwig the French example of Paris Plage, Mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi, wants to transform the area along the river and turn into a dynamic part of the city. 

Other facilities will be built as well. There will also be a sports and attractions area. This will give Romans and tourists an opportunity not only to visit a new tourist attraction but also to cool off during the extremely hot summer months.
