The European Commission #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards recognise organisations using the power of sport to increase social inclusion for disadvantaged groups. Sport is fun and brings people together. Sport is also based on fairness and respect, regardless of who you are and where you come from. This makes it a powerful tool for breaking barriers and building inclusive society. The Commission launched the awards in June 2018. The competition was open to organisations established in the Erasmus+ programme countries.

Tibor Navracsics, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, presented the 3 winners with their awards and a prize of 10,000 euro each at the #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards ceremony in Brussels.
