The Greek island of Milos named ”Best Island in Europe”

The readers of the famous ”Travel + Leisure” magazine recently ranked Milos as ”the best island in Europe” for 2019. The top 15 list includes another three Greek islands: Santorini, Paros and Crete, informed the magazine. The largest Greek island, Crete, came second on the list, with Paros and Santorini being respectively fourth and fifth. In 2018 first place was taken by Paros, but for 2019, readers named Milos as the best European island.
”Stroll its cobblestone streets, hike volcanic craters, wander through ruins, or stretch out on the groomed white-sand beaches overlooking turquoise waters” are some of the proposals that the magazine made to its audience to visit Milos.
Milos is a volcanic island located in the southwesternmost island in the Cyclades group.
