Celebrate the Day of Free Time 2019 in Mons
The Belgian city has a special whole-day programme for the youngest amongst us

Ahead of the new school year or the upcoming working season, right after the end of summer vacations, another day of leisure time seems appealing to everyone. And it looks like this is precisely what the local authorities in the Belgian city of Mons believe. That is why they organize a special programme lasting a whole day for children, called the Day of Free Time. On Sunday 1st September 2019, from 10:00 to 18:00, the responsible service within the municipality will offer a range of free activities in the Waux-Hall Park.
Children and young people will have the chance to participate in a total of 74 extracurricular activities, to attend events, lessons and demonstrations offered by extracurricular structures. Some of the previewed activities include dance, martial arts, mini tennis, gymnastics, diving, musical workshops, rugby, volleyball. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or inspired by science, you will certainly find something for your taste in the diverse programme.
