Among the cultural events organized by 86 municipalities are open-air festivals, city celebrations, concerts, exhibitions, competitions, public discussions, educational and interactive games for children and a number of other initiatives for people of all ages.
The colourful calendar of events includes the municipalities: Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Nessebar, Pomorie, Veliko Tarnovo, Stara Zagora, Troyan and many others. A number of museums, galleries, cultural and natural sites will provide free access to their visitors on certain days of September.
The municipalities and cultural sites included in the large-scale initiative assure that all anti-epidemiological measures in connection with Covid-19 will be observed. Despite the difficulties and restrictions, thousands of citizens and tourists are expected to join in the upcoming festivities.
The national coordinator for conducting the EHD for Bulgaria is the Ministry of Culture. You can see the calendar of events on the website of the institution.
