British pet owners living in the EU must take their pet to a vet as soon as possible

Failing to comply with EU regulations, some travellers could be forced to leave their pets

Owners of cats, dogs and other animals must take their pets to the vet in order to make sure they meet all regulations of the EU and this is almost mandatory to happend by the end of Novermber. They should also test their animals 30 days after rabies vaccination to make sure it has had the desired effect and must wait three months before travelling.

Pet passports issued in the United Kingdon will not be valid in the EU after March 29th, 2019 if no-deal Brexit is reached. However, firm decisions about deal or no deal with EU are still quite vague, therefore it will be reasonable for pet owners to make sure they prepare.
