Le Festival de Cannes appartient sans aucun doute aux plus grands événements du monde du cinéma. À la fin de ce mois, il reviendra pour la 72e édition et réunira des professionnels du cinéma de renommée mondiale et des stars reconnus partout. Traditionnellement, le Festival de Cannes est organisé en partenariat avec les autorités locales de la ville française et maintenant plusieurs citoyens locaux auront la chance d'assister aux projections officielles avec des invitations gratuites.
Comment participer ? Si vous avez plus de 18 ans et vivez ou travaillez à Cannes, inscrivez-vous en ligne avant le 6 mai, à 18 heures, en utilisant ce lien. Les gagnants seront tirés au sort et annoncés en ligne ou sur le bâtiment de l'Hôtel de Ville le 13 mai. Les invitations ne seront données qu'après la présentation d’un justificatif de résidence à Cannes.
L’édition de cette année aura lieu du 14 au 25 mai. Le Festival de Cannes a été organisé pour la première fois en 1946, mais les étapes menant à sa création remontent aux années précédentes. Dans le cadre de la rivalité avec Venise et Biarritz, le 31 mai 1939, un accord fut signé entre la ville et le gouvernement pour donner naissance au Festival, finalement instauré sur la Côte d'Azur.
