Celebrate the approaching spring at the largest Dutch-style garden in Italy
TuliPark in Rome – the largest Dutch-style garden in Italy – is ready to open its doors soon and welcome visitors, who can come and admire the colourful flowers but also pick and create their own bouquets.
The flower park will reopen on 22 March (it has been present in the Italian capital since 2018) with tickets on sale from tomorrow, 1 March.
It will be an intriguing way to welcome the new spring and the rebirth of nature with the opportunity not only to enjoy the varieties of tulips but also to pick them up and take them away. For this purpose, there will be a ticket that includes that option.
Speaking of tulip varieties, the garden promises that this year there will be more than 75 of these and altogether there will be tens of thousands of these flowers featuring all possible colours, shapes and sizes that flower breeders have managed to create.
This year, the park management has also prepared something new for visitors. There will be a guided and illustrated tour, which will take people around the park describing the history of the tulip as part of human civilization. This will include anecdotes and curiosities that have made it one of the most iconic symbols of the Netherlands today.
Plus, the tulip garden has been designed to showcase other cultural icons from the Low Country, including a windmill, a giant klompen where you can take selfies and the possibility to try some typical Dutch foods like frikandellen and bitterballen.
TuliPark is located on Via dei Gordiani 73 in the Prenestino-Labicano area of eastern Rome.
The 26,000-m2 TuliPark will be open daily (9:00-18:00), probably until mid-April, depending on the availability of its tulips.
