Nagusilan es el nombre de una organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a brindar servicios de atención social a personas jubiladas en la región vasca de España. Su proyecto emblemático, denominado 'Hilo de Plata', se inició en el año 2000 y se destaca por la atención a las necesidades sociales de personas de la tercera edad que podrían estar experimentando soledad en casa. Este tipo de problema siempre ha estado presente y este año se vio agravado por el impacto de las medidas restrictivas.
Con casi 5500 llamadas realizadas por personas solitarias a esta línea de ayuda durante los meses de marzo y abril, se considera que ha demostrado por qué este servicio es tan necesario en cualquier sociedad. No obstante, Gobierno Vasco y ayuntamientos coinciden en que este servicio también tiene que recibir un reconocimiento mucho más amplio, por lo que se ha anunciado una nueva campaña de promoción en ese sentido. Se llama “Hay llamadas que te cambian la vida”.
El proyecto "Silver Line" ha sido dirigido por voluntarios que también suelen ser personas mayores. Sin embargo, en 2019, se decidió profesionalizar esta experiencia con la incorporación de una trabajadora social profesional al equipo.
Resultó que esta fue una decisión oportuna ya que al año siguiente con la llegada inesperada de la pandemia de coronavirus la sensación de soledad y aislamiento era rampante entre muchos de los adultos mayores que vivían solos en casa y con ello la demanda de este tipo de servicio. lo que podría brindarles compañía y un oído amable sin poner en peligro su estado de salud.
Los carteles e imágenes promocionales de la campaña se colgarán en marquesinas, prensa impresa, webs, folletos y tarjetas de todo el País Vasco.
