La nuova linea di collegamento con le aree periferiche lavorerà fino al 30 settembre
Fare tardi la notte per coloro i quali dovranno raggiungere le frazioni di Amalfi – Tovere, Vettica, Lone, Pastena e Pogerola – non sarà più un problema, ha annunciato il comune in un comunicato stampa speciale per TheMayor.EU. Per quest'estate, infatti, l'amministrazione comunale di Amalfi, guidata dal sindaco Daniele Milano, ha predisposto una serie di corse notturne da e per le zone periferiche del territorio comunale che saranno effettuate con il minibus impiegato quotidianamente sulla linea interna Piazzale dei Protontini – Valle dei Mulini.
A partire da oggi, mercoledì 19 giugno e sino al prossimo 30 settembre, il minibus di Amalfi Mobilità svolgerà, dunque, servizio notturno con 6 corse in partenza tutti i giorni da Piazza Flavio Gioia: due per Tovere e altrettante per Vettica (via Augustariccio – Fondo Fusco) e Pogerola.
Orari del nuovo servizio sperimentale:
Il costo del biglietto, acquistabile a bordo, sarà di 1,50 euro a corsa, con agevolazione per i residenti che pagheranno invece 1 euro. Restano garantite anche per questo nuovo servizio le esenzioni già previste per la mobilità interna (come ad esempio per i residenti con più di 65 anni).
"La decisione di offrire un servizio suppletivo nelle ore notturne ai collegamenti del trasporto pubblico essenziale – dichiara il primo cittadino di Amalfi, Daniele Milano – è stato fortemente voluto dall'Amministrazione Comunale. In questo modo, andiamo incontro alle esigenze di coloro i quali hanno necessità di muoversi da e verso i borghi di Amalfi. Il nuovo servizio rappresenta un valore aggiunto per le attività commerciali delle frazioni ed una valida alternativa per i più giovani e le famiglie che potranno rientrare a casa senza fretta".
