Les Mardis d’avenir sont un moyen à découvrir les métiers porteurs d’emploi
Plusieurs villes Belges dans la Région Wallonie, proposent les Mardis d'avenir, ou bien des journées interactives qui te permettent de découvrir des secteurs et des métiers en pénurie. Chaque mardi, un secteur ou un groupe de métiers est présenté. Les séances se déroulent dans les centres de formation, en présence d’un professionnel, ce qui permet de s’informer, s'inscrire directement et se former plus rapidement.
L'analyse du marché de l'emploi a permis de distinguer 3 types de métiers en manque de candidats, aussi connus comme des métiers en pénurie. Ils sont caractérisés par le fait qu’il n'y a pas suffisamment de demandeurs d'emploi pour répondre aux offres d'emploi diffusées. Parmi eux: boucher, développeur informatique, mécanicien industriel, électromécanicien, technicien frigoriste, mécanicien en génie civil, chauffeur poids lourds, infirmier spécialisé, couvreur, installeur électricien, dessinateur en construction, etc.
Les fonctions critiques, quant à elles, se distinguent par le fait que leurs offres d'emploi sont moins facilement satisfaites et cela prend du temps pour trouver des candidats. Par exemple : chef de chantier, boulanger, web développeur, peintre en carrosserie, responsable commercial, infirmier généraliste, responsable qualité, monteur en structure bois, délégué commercial.
Enfin, les métiers qui évoluent et/ou évolueront dans les années à venir pour s'adapter aux changements numériques, robotiques, environnementaux sont les métiers dits "d'avenir". Quelques exemples : conseiller énergie, game designer, expert en sécurité informatique, mécatronicien, technicien en robotique industrielle, responsable e-commerce.
