The Mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala, and the Councillor for Development and Employment, Delegate President of the Local Economic and Social Development Agency of the City of Alicante, Carlos Castillo, have presented the First Congress of Social and Human Transformation that will take place on 12 December, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of ADDA, Alicante.
According to the Mayor, the Congress will offer attendees training and personal and professional development tools for becoming positive part of social change. The objective is to encourage companies and public institutions to promote values such as volunteering, solidarity, respect for the environment, ethics and transparency.
The Councillor for Economy and President of the Local Development Agency, Carlos Castillo, informed that this congress addresses "the importance of the action of the companies in the society in which they live, and the role that all administrations can play public from the point of view of the social impact of our policies ".
To highlight, among others, the presence of the journalist, writer and Spanish psychologist, as well as Paralympics skier, Irene Villa; Inocencio Arias, director of the Diplomatic Information Office for almost 20 years, ambassador to the United Nations and representative of Spain in the Security Council, general director of Real Madrid and actor and Alex Rovira, writer, businessman and professional speaker, expert in new trends in business management, innovation expert.
