En honor a la Semana Europea de la Movilidad, las primeras 100 bicicletas se etiquetarán gratis
“Biciregistro” es el nombre del registro nacional de bicicletas de España. Al igual que los automóviles, cada uno de los vehículos de dos ruedas está equipado con un número de identificación único. Sin embargo, esto depende de los propietarios, por lo que la concejalía de Movilidad de Alicante invita a los propietarios a inscribir sus bicicletas en los talleres especiales que se instalan hoy en la Glorieta Deportista Sergio Cardell hasta las 20:00 horas. Dicho registro está destinado a reducir el riesgo de que le roben las bicicletas.
El taller de reparación es gratuito, al igual que el registro antirrobo para los primeros 100 asistentes. La inscripción se puede realizar en persona en el taller, pero también online enviando fotografías y descripción de la bicicleta además de completar un formulario.
Una vez registrada la bicicleta, su propietario recibirá un kit con una tarjeta de identificación y pegatinas especiales que se colocan en el cuadro de la bicicleta. Estas pegatinas contienen el código de registro nacional único y están hechas de material que es muy difícil de quitar, e incluso si se quitan, el código permanece grabado en el marco donde se puede leer bajo luz ultravioleta.
“Tener registrada la bicicleta es fundamental para que la Policía Local logre identificarlas y las recupere en caso de robo o pérdida, con un sistema que refuerza su seguridad, identifica la bici con etiquetas y un número, dificultando así su robo y permitiendo además su localización,” ha explicado José Ramón González, concejal de Movilidad del Ayuntamiento de Alicante.
Los resultados son alentadores ya que se ha informado que en los últimos años la Brigada Ciclista de la Policía Local ha logrado recuperar más de un centenar de bicicletas.
Además, el Ayuntamiento invita a los aficionados a la bicicleta a participar en una carrera de 4 horas que tendrá lugar este sábado 19 de septiembre a partir de las 10:00 horas partiendo desde Torre Reixes.
