Señora alcaldesa, ¿cree que hoy la voz de las mujeres en la política es lo suficientemente apreciada en los temas importantes?
Creo que no, el número de mujeres que ocupan altos cargos y primeros puestos en el mundo es escaso.
Hay algunas mujeres gobernando, pero, en general, en los equipos de toma de decisiones siguen siendo una minoría. Por tanto, pienso que las decisiones más importantes para el futuro del planeta las siguen tomando hombres.
Pienso que el día en que la voz de la mujer sea mayor que ahora, el mundo mejorará más, porque las decisiones serán más humanas.
¿Qué consejo les daría a las jóvenes que quieren tener éxito en el trabajo?
A una joven le aconsejaría que trabajara mucho y no se rindiera nunca. Que se puede conciliar perfectamente la vida laboral y la familiar. Que si lo desea puede tener hijos y educarlos perfectamente y nunca será una mala madre, sino todo lo contrario. Y aunque parezca duro, y en algunos momentos lo es, no ha de renunciar a nada en su vida. Ella puede con todo.
¿Cuál es el equilibrio entre la razón y la intuición en su trabajo?
Pues creo que le daría un 70% al razonamiento y un 30% a la intuición. Es verdad que la intuición o “el sexto sentido” que tenemos las mujeres es casi siempre bastante acertado, sobre todo para que las decisiones sean un poco más correctas.
