Pour ceux qui ne sont pas d'humeur de Noël, voici une question sérieuse à considérer avec soin pendant les vacances: le grand débat national en France commence très bientôt. Dans le contexte des tensions publiques croissantes en République française, provoquées par l’augmentation des prix du carburant, qui ont rapidement dégénéré en une mobilisation nationale avec des revendications dans diverses directions et plusieurs mois de manifestations des «gilets jaunes», le Président de la République, Emmanuel Macron a décidé de se tourner vers les citoyens et d’entendre leur voix.
À cette fin, le Président a invité plusieurs ministres à discuter la question et a conclu à la nécessité d'organiser une consultation populaire. Le Grand Débat National a donc pour objectif de comprendre l’opinion publique des Français, conçus en tant qu’individus, groupes de citoyens, plates-formes numériques, etc. autour de quatre thèmes majeurs:
Afin de rendre le débat populaire plus efficace, une participation publique élevée est essentielle. C'est pourquoi le président Emmanuel Macron s'est adressé aux autorités locales, les municipalités, dont les maires sont élu au suffrage direct, et donc représentent le pouvoir le plus proche aux citoyens. En conséquence, les municipalités françaises ont très tôt lancé des campagnes d’information afin de donner aux citoyens français le temps nécessaire pour examiner la question et prendre position.
Parmi les premiers à rejoindre l’initiative est la municipalité de Rueil-Malmaison qui, à compter du premier jour ouvrable de 2019 offrira un espace pour commenter et s’exprimer aux résidents dans la centrale de l'hôtel de ville, ainsi que sur le portail de la participation citoyenne - https://jaimerueiljeparticipe.fr Le débat national devrait durer de janvier à mars 2019.
