Secondo l'analisi di EY, le città italiane diventano più sostenibili ma aumenta il divario tra nord e sud
Ernst & Young Global Limited or simply EY ha annunciato i risultati del suo Smart City Index 2020, l’analisi annuale che classifica le città capoluogo italiane in base al loro sviluppo infrastrutturale. Quest'anno l’indice si sta concentrando sulla sostenibilità urbana.
Il report prende in considerazione le infrastrutture cittadine smart nelle diverse componenti del trasporto, dell’energia e dell’ambiente come acqua, verde e rifiuti. In questo contesto Trento viene la città più sostenibile d’Italia per trasporti, energia e ambiente. Seguono Torino, Bologna, Mantova e Milano.
Secondo i dati dello Smart City Index 2020 di EY, le città italiane diventano più sostenibili ma aumenta il divario tra nord e sud. Anche quest'anno le città metropolitane del Nord continuano ad essere nella parte superiore della classifica. Milano è la prima città italiana per mobilità condivisa, con oltre 3.000 auto in sharing di sei operatori (di cui 3 elettrici), e 4.800 biciclette nel 2019.
Nella top 20 entrano 12 città medie, tra cui, Bolzano, Brescia, Bergamo, Pordenone e Ferrara. Firenze è al 20/mo posto, Roma è al 78/mo posto. Alla fine della classifica sono L’Aquila (107), Catania (108) e Crotone (109).
Secondo i risultati in Italia è presente ancora un grande divario con le città del Sud. Eccezione fanno soltanoto Lecce e Bari che si collocano tra le prime 50 nella classifica dedicata al tema della sostenibilità.
Secondo il report, la mobilità sostenibile (elettrica, ciclabile e pedonale e mobilità condivisa), registra un costante aumento negli ultimi 6 anni. A livello nazionale, le auto elettriche e ibride sono più che triplicate negli ultimi 4 anni (+259% dal 2016).
Pure il parco circolante ha registrato una diminuzione di auto importante dal 2002 al 2018. Per esempio, Milano ha eliminato più di100.000 veicoli mentre in tre città del Sud - Messina, Catania e Reggio Calabria, si è registrato un aumento.
