Today, 10th May starts the Zadar Outdoor Festival and continues until Sunday. All sport lovers are invited to the third edition of the festival. It will take place at the most attractive locations in the Croatian city. The Zadar Outdoor Festival is an event which promotes an active, healthy lifestyle in a natural environment through a variety of sports disciplines. This year, more than 1,300 participants from 20 countries are expected to take part. The Zadar region is famous for being one of the most attractive places in Croatia and the Mediterranean. Not only is it a perfect vacation spot but it's also an ideal place to practice various sports.
This year festival offers seven sport disciplines in 3 days: running, trail, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, and swimming. Some of the most attractive locations in Zadar and the wider surrounding area will be used for the competitions: Sea Organ, Zadar Riva, Jazina Bay, Ugljan Island, Zaton, Petrčane, Privlaka, Vir and Nin. Popular slackline, yoga and climbing workshops will also be organised. For the youngsters, a free kayaking school will take place. There will also be a free stand up paddle boarding school for participants of all ages.
