Amalfi is a solidarity municipality, and besides the tax cuts expected this year, the city administration, led by the mayor Danielle Milano, has prepared a fund to be distributed to people or families in need. The grant of extraordinary economic support will be made for those citizens residing in the city of Amalfi who request it by means of a specific application deposited at the Amalfi Protocol Office by 12h on 15 March 2019. The application form can be downloaded from Amalfi's website.
The selection will be done through the evaluation of the Isee models (Indicator of the Equivalent Economic Situation) of the applicant's household that must be less than or equal to 10,000 euros. For the purposes of calculating the Isee, the family unit is the equal of the family status. The measure of direct economic contribution is set at a maximum of 500 euros and is granted one-off, for a total fund of 15,000 euros.
