The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The event is co-organised by the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions.
From 7th until 10th of October 2019, some 6 000 participants, speakers and journalists from all over Europe and beyond gather together in Brussels to join over 100 different workshops, exhibitions, debates and networking sessions.
The EU RegionsWeek is the largest annual event on European regional policy where you get a chance to show off your success stories and good practices. The call for applications to become a partner of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2019 is now open. The deadline for submitting your application is March 28.
This year, partners are invited to propose working sessions linked to the three of the main topics (in bold to which priority will be given) and to the three additional ones:
