While everyone is speaking about the remarkable quality of the air over Europe this winter, two Bulgarians find a way to deal with household air pollution from heating. The two computer specialists invent a smoke free stove. It is 99% water vapor and carbon dioxide and less than 1% smoke particles that are not even visible.
With this technology, the consumer uses between 50 to 80% less wood. In the traditional stoves, the temperature of the fire is only 400-500 degrees. That’s because it uses only 30-50% of the calories of the tree compared to almost 90% used by the smoke free stove. The inventors expect that the support will come from the business or from European institutions and not from the Bulgarian state itself.
