Enjoy a wonderful opportunity to teach your child about confidence, resilience and strength and to prepare them against bullying: online and at school. The Cavan County Library Service in Ireland is hosting a free talk by the prominent psychotherapist, public speaker and bestselling author Stella OMalley, entitled Bully proof kids: raising happy kids in an anxious world. The talk is part of the Healthy Ireland at your Library initiative and aims to contribute to building resilience in children and young people.

The guest lecturer Stella OMalley has been counselling and writing primarily on mental health and the importance of well-being. A regular contributor to Newstalk radio and the Irish Independent, she is also renowned for her book Cotton Wool Kids, released in 2015 and the bestseller 'Bully-Proof Kids: Practical tools to help kids grow up confident, resilient and strong', published in 2017.

The Library at Cavan County invites everyone on Wednesday, 13 February in Johnston Central Library, Farnham St Cavan at 7pm. The event is especially appealing to parents, educators and young people who can relate in any way to bullying behaviour.
