The European Commission's Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Bulgarian EU Presidency and the Municipality of Burgas are happy to invite you to European Maritime Day 2018. The conference will take place on 31 May and 1 June 2018 in Burgas, Bulgaria. Registration is now open.
The event will bring together hundreds of specialists and activists engaged in the sustainable development of the marine environment. EMD 2018 will bring: up to 19 stakeholder workshops; political opening session with Ministers from Black Sea riparian states; high-level debate on "Big Bang Black Sea" and plenary session on EU funds for Blue Growth and sea-basin cooperation. There will be also “Burgas sea festival”- 4 days of events engaging the general public and celebrating Burgas' maritime heritage.
