Changes to be made in unprivileged Danish areas

The plan was passed by the parliament on Thursday

The Danish parliament passed a plan on Thursday for the development of unprivileged areas in Denmark. The matter has been a topic of dicussion and opposition for quite some time now. The plan also focuses on preventing the turning of unprivileged areas into ghettos. It was determined that a maximum of 40% of housing can form the almene familieboliger or social housing.

The opposition claims that this will not solve the problem, it will just move it to another area becasue the implementation of the plan means that about 16 suburban areas in different locations in Denmark could soon be demolished which will not provide solutions for the real problem.
