The prestigious Bulgarian contest “Mayor of the Year” will take place in September. This autumn, for the seventh consecutive year, the traditional national online competition on the platform kmetnagodinata.bg will be held, in which the citizens of Bulgaria will select with their vote the winners of the prestigious contest. This year they will evaluate the work of mayors and their teams in several categories for the entire 2015-2019 mandate. The awards this year will be under the motto "My City Is №1 in ...".
Traditionally, voting for municipalities is divided into categories based on their size - small municipality (with less than 20,000 inhabitants), middle (with a population between 20,000 and 50,000 inhabitants) and big municipality (with a population of over 50,000).
