Dublin City calls for volunteers to UEFA EURO 2020

Next year the Irish capital will be hosting four games as part of the major football event. Learn how to get involved

On the occasion of the forthcoming major sports event in June, the City of Dublin is calling to volunteers to apply for the organization of UEFA EURO 2020. The capital of Ireland will host four games as follows:

  • Monday, June 15th 2020 (Group game)
  • Friday, June 19th 2020 (Group game)
  • Wednesday, June 24th 2020 (Group game)
  • Tuesday, June 30th 2020 (Round-16 game)

The football event is considered as the third biggest sporting event worldwide: for reference, it had over 2 billion TV spectators during the 2016 edition. If the country manages to qualify, the importance will sky-rocket. Accordingly, volunteers will have significant responsibility by being in the heart of the event and more than 1,400 of them are needed to work troughout the city of Dublin. They must be available at all four dates and will be deployed in one of the following 10 services:

  • Accreditation
  • Guest Management
  • Hospitality
  • ICT
  • Media Operations
  • Spectator experiences
  • Fan Zones
  • Event Transport
  • Drivers
  • Airport Meet & Greet
  • Venue Operations

Applications are currently being accepted online by the Football Association of Ireland. Apply now.
