Find out why you should stop feeding birds in spring

From growing seasonal veggies & fruits to ditching single-use plastics at picnics, & saving water when gardening, there are many ways to make a difference. It is a great way to enjoy it than adopting greener habits. Get inspired: europa.eu/!WU74PT

Here's an example from the booklet: Stop feeding birds in spring. Many birds need extra seeds as power food in the winter but when spring arrives, their diet changes. Birds play a vital role in keeping insects under control, and their young can choke on hard food like peanuts or large seeds. So a spring bird feeder can do more harm than good. It is best to stop feeding birds after 1 April. But they still need water. A broad, shallow container with sloping edges where they can drink or bathe is best.
