Games Week Denmark is a nationwide celebration of the Danish games industry, where game designers, programmers, graphic artists, business experts, gamers, and everybody in love with the interactive medium of games come together to meet, talk, learn, and share. Games Week Denmark was initiated as a concept during the summer of 2015, which was realized in 2016 under the name Copenhagen Games Festival. In 2017 it changed its name to Games Week Denmark and spread to the whole country with 17 events.
Games Week Denmark sets the spotlight on the rising Danish Game Industry. It gathers Nordic Game Jam, Spilprisen, CPH MatchUp, Game Developer Talks, and more across the whole of Denmark, with more than 3 000 people attending. 12-18 April 2018 Denmark turns into a hot spot for game designers, programmers, graphic artists, business experts, investors, gamers and game interested locals and tourists. All the participants shouldn’t forget to sign up or buy ticket for each specific event.
