The Municipality of Kozloduy supports individuals and families at the birth or adoption of a child with a one-time financial support amounting to 600 leva (300 euro). The financial assistance is granted only if the parents/adoptive parents meet the conditions and requirements set out in the Rules on the terms and conditions for the granting of one-time financial assistance to a newborn/adopted child on the territory of Kozloduy Municipality, which was adopted by Decision No 589 of 21.01.2019 from the Municipal Council of Kozloduy.
Subject of funding are: single parents and families in which at least one of the parents is a resident of the municipality for one year. Important conditions for applying are: the parents/adoptive parents must be at least 18 years of age, have a secondary education and have no financial obligations to the Kozloduy Municipality. The examination of the submitted documents and the distribution of funds for newborn or adopted child will be carried out by a Commission, which will monitor the compliance with the terms and conditions laid down in the Rules. Support may be granted to families whose children were born or adopted after 1 January 2019. It is granted up to one year after the birth of the child.
