The European Union will invest approximately €3 million to rebuild its office in the Estonian capital into a high-tech center wich will promote “the importance and relevance of the European Parliament and the EU”. Now the Parliament and the European Commission are use one space for their offices in Tallinn. The new plan is to add another space in the same building and to transform it in “Europa Experience”, information center much like the ones in Strasbourg and Berlin.
60% of the investment would come from the Commission and 40% from the Parliament. The EU building is with pefect location in a very popular zone. Estonia is very pro-EU members with nearly 70% supporting EU membership.
