Nicosia Book Fest will take place this autumn. The cultural fest has become a unique attraction for Cyprus, meeting at the same time the standards of international events. Acropolis Park in Nicosia will host the event on 5th and 6th October, establishing the month as the festival’s official season. The festival is organised by the Promitheas Research Institute, the Press and Information Office, the Cyprus Youth Organisation and the Strovolos Municipality.
For 4th consecutive year the Book Fest promises two full and exciting days. The aim of the event is to offer even more to the reader and to enable visitors to get in touch with the books and their creators as well as to participate in the various activities. The Fest promotes books to the public, people of all ages, and brings together readers and authors at a time when the book industry faces particular challenges. On three different stages every booklover can participate in special discussions and presentations with writers from Cyprus and abroad, exciting activities and games for youngsters, musical and theatrical performances. Children will have the opportunity to attend interactive fairy tales by authors and theater groups as well as many other surprises.
