On 23 March, you can attend an online event showing what our future will look like if we do not take action to combat the decline of pollinators
The European Commission has announced the launch of a virtual reality experience called Pollinator Park, designed by the award-winning “archibiotect” Vincent Callebaut. This virtual event will educate viewers about the consequences of the decline of pollinators, demonstrating the dire future that awaits us if we do not take action.
For this reason, on the European Commission’s website, the event is described as “a powerful wake-up call to humanity to repair its broken bond with nature.”
The official opening ceremony of Pollinator Park will take place on 23 March from 12:00 to 13:30 CET. Reporter, broadcast journalist and presenter Beatriz Rios will host the event and welcome several renowned headliners to a talk show where they will be able to give their perspectives on pollinators.
On the Facebook page of the event, the headliners are listed as follows:
In addition to this, the Belgian musician Stan Lee Cole will also perform live original music during the 1-hour talk show.
