Fat, oil and grease (FOG) creates major problems in wastewater collection networks. In this regard, the first European Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) summit is set to take place in Amsterdam, 6 March 2019. This summit, which is the first of its kind in Europe, will showcase the latest achievements in industry-led research, communication and application of technologies.
The event is an initiative from SwiftComply, in cooperation with Stichting Waternet and co-funded by the European Union (H2020). A mix of keynote speeches and panel discussions make up the programme. The summit is entirely free to attend for government employees. Regulatory agencies and private companies will have to purchase tickets to enter the event.
