To facilitate citizens and tourists traveling around the city center

Rome soon will have its electric minibuses, to facilitate citizens and tourists traveling around the city center. Virginia Raggi, mayor of the Italian capital had promised it and this week she presented to the public the first vehicle of the new fleet. A prototype was introduced of a 100% electric bus that by April will be on the streets of Rome. By the summer two strategic lines will be reactivated with a total of 25 new vehicles, with the aim of recovering 60 buses by 2020.

Rome relaunches a strategic service, means that for a long time remained in the Atac depot in Trastevere. Zero emission buses, modernized with the most advanced technologies to ensure long life and a significant reduction in consumption. An important step that is added to the investments put into place to improve and strengthen the entire public transport network, respecting sustainable mobility.
