The Christmas lights and the tree will be lit up in the center of the Bulgarian capital today at 17:30 in front of the National Palace of Culture. The square in the city center will light up and awake the Christmas spirit in Sofia.
Initial plans were for the event to take place on December 1st, however, due to bad weather conditions, it was postponed for the 5th. The opening program will begin at 17:30 with variuos performances. The event will be attended by Mayor of Sofia - Yordanka Fandakova.
