In 2019, The International Vilnius Book Fair marks its 20th anniversary. Since its start in the year of 2000, the International Vilnius Book Fair has been the biggest and most important book fair in the Baltic states and an annual meeting place of publishers, authors and readers that attracts more than 60 000 visitors.
The fair will be held at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre "Litexpo" on February 21-24 with the slogan “20 years after”. The anniversary Vilnius Book Fair will meet its visitors with a very broad cultural program, open new spaces, invite to meet with Lithuanian and foreign authors, offer new events and present a number of birthday surprises. It will also have a traditional discussion club, with five discussions focused on literary genres.
