Don’t miss this unique opportunity to unveil the secret life of animals once we turn in
A new exhibition of the Museum of Kroměříž, Czech Republic will reveal the mystery of the animal kingdom. The main part in this unseen spectacle is played by those, whose activity begins at nightfall and culminates at night. In darkened spaces which imitate the natural habitat of these animals, the visitor will only be able to move around under the light of a flashlight. He will see how the animals are guided in the dark and get to know how their kingdom takes over, long after people have turned in. The visitors will discover what light smog is and how it affects not only animals but also us humans. In the forest, yard, wetland or meadow simulation, dozens of dermoplastic models of rodents, birds and larger animals will be installed (among which fox, lynx, roe or wild boar).
The exhibition is prepared in cooperation with the Museum of Těšín, the Museum of the Beskydy Mountains, the Museum of South-East Moravia in Zlín and the Slovak Museum in Uherské Hradiště. The exhibition is open from October 10, 2018 to February 3, 2019.
