If you happen to be in France in the weekend of October 20th and 21st, there are two events you can fill your weenend agenda with. One is taking place in Paris, the other in Lyon.
Festival des Courges, Lyon, October 20th – 21st
This is a festival taking place in Lyon in the botanical gardens of the French city. Its theme is quite interesting - plants and fruit featuring in many fairytales, not just being some Halloween props, therefore pumpkin and squash are not the only verity you can see in the magnificent botanical gardens. There will also be tastings of different plants and fruit and many activities for both children and adults, plus a lot of creative workshops and market stalls.
Salon International de l’alimentation, Paris, October 21st - 25th
This is one of the largest food exhibitions focused on food innovation. The event has been held every two years since first exhibiting in Paris in 1964. The event also targets foodservice professionals who seek career development, advise and inspiration.
