Harald Preuner

Mayor of Salzburg is Harald Preuner. He was born on August 3th 1959.

In 1999 he became municipal council and deputy chairman of the City Council. Since December 14, 2004, he has held the post of deputy mayor of Salzburg. When Heinz Schaden (SPÖ) stepped down on 20 September 2017, Preuner took over the leadership of the city. On 10 December 2017 Preuner was elected Mayor of Salzburg and was reelected on 24 March 2019.
