Marinela NIkolova

Marinella Nikolova was born in Kozloduy. She graduated with honors and a Master's Degree in Accounting and Control from the Economic Academy "D. A. Tsenov " in Svishtov. She has over 17 years of management experience, including the position head of Kozloduy Regional Post Office. For three years she was director of the Labor Office Directorate - Kozloduy. Under her leadership, the institution won the first prize from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Employment Agency for the best realization of the overall activity for 2013 in the category "Little Labor Office". The Kozloduy Labor Office is among the leaders in the country in absorbing European funds and working on employment programs.

Mrs. Nikolova is married, with a daughter. She is active in sports.

She volunteers in a non-profit organization working with young people.

She was first elected as Mayor of Kozloduy Municipality on October 25, 2015 and was re-elected in the October 2019 local elections in the first round.
