Valter Glavičić

Mayor of Labin is Valter Glavičić. He was born in Vinež on 15 November 1973. Until the elections, he worked as the Head of the Labin electrical distribution plant.

He entered politics in 2010. In the 2013 local elections, he joined the Town of Labin Council and became the president of the IDS-HNS-HSU Councilors' Club.

His priorities primarily cover the further development of the economy and tourism. He pays special attention to cooperation with entrepreneurs and craftsmen, upgrades to sports infrastructure, the preservation of rich cultural heritage and the Labin identity as well as the promotion of multiculturalism and minority rights.

He is the father of three children and spends his free time in the family vineyards and olive groves.
